Converging diverse perspectives with a shared commitment to crafting sustainable wellbeing for all. Participants in this session come from the Government of Iceland, UNESCO, and WEAll.

 

14:10-15:00    WELLBEING AND YOUTH

Enhancing wellbeing among youth. Exploring the intersection of education and the wellbeing economy with key speakers and insights. Participants in this session will be from OECD and academics in the field.

   

15:00-15:30    PANEL DISCUSSION

 

15:30-16:00    BREAK: COFFEE SERVED IN AN OPEN AREA

 

16:00-18:00     WELLBEING ECONOMY 

A high-level session with the Prime Minister of Iceland, Minister of Health in Iceland, and representatives from EU, WHO, WEGo, and the Directorate of Health in Iceland discussing wellbeing economy strategies and initiatives, followed by a panel discussion.

 

18:00-19:00    FINGER FOOD IN HÖRPUHORN 

 

18:15-19:15    WELLBEING HISTORICAL WALK AROUND DOWNTOWN REYKJAVÍK 

A fun wellbeing historical walk with an Icelandic guide in English around downtown Reykjavík. The meeting point is in front of Harpa.

19:30-22:00    PURPOSE - DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE WELLBEING ECONOMY

The premiere of the documentary “Purpose” by Martin Oetting in Kaldalón Harpa followed by a roundtable discussion.

8:30-10:10 WELLBEING ECONOMY AND HEALTH

Delve into the connection between health and the wellbeing economy with insightful keynotes. We will have participants from the Government of Iceland, WHO, and academics in the field.

Financial aspects of the wellbeing economy. Participants in this session come from the Government of Iceland, OECD, and the Central Bank of Iceland.

13:30-15:00    WELLBEING ECONOMY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

Insights from local government officials and organisations on promoting sustainable wellbeing at the community level. Participants joining us in this session will be Mayors of Wellbeing Cities and representatives from the Wellbeing Economy Lab.

Building Bridges: Business Leadership in Shaping Wellbeing Economies. /  Exploring the intersection of gender, economy, and wellbeing in the workplace. We will have participants from the Icelandic Business Life, Wellbeing Economy Alliance, and academics in the field.

Experience true Icelandic bathing culture at the oceanside geothermal lagoon.
